That's interesting. What kind of challenges would there be? I'm pretty busy with my comic but looks like a cool concept! ;-)
Make a story about X. Most popular one wins. Start from there.
That could be nice especially if you manage to get other creators involved. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to draw a full comic for this. However I could explain a concept or do a synopsis with sketchy illustrations...
Could do it like the hardy boys. One illustration per chapter.
