Space is not Green - NFT Giveaway - Creative contest

in #art3 years ago

Hello everyone!

Giveaway-creative contest at the end of the article.
This time I bring you to a journey, to explore a very strange solar system, as I share and make a giveaway about for my second NFT. I bring you an animated painting again, but this time it's more personal and not just based from a practice.

Creation Process
  1. Originally, I made this painting in 2018.07 . The inspiration came from Sciencephile video - Which is an explanation why we can't see green stars. This gaved me the basic idea to create something in the topic. The thing is, i love sci-fi and space too, there is a lots of things which humanity doesn't explored yet, and it is really fuel the creativity, about what more can be out there?

  2. So the painting itself made in MyPaint. Mostly with 3 (+1) layer. I had , a "cloudy space", stars (made with a special brush and size variation), and the solar system itself in one piece, which was a bit problematic when i started to animate it (+base background color).
For animation at first, i needed to divide that onepiece layer, and while thats was just time, the real question was the animation method and-or style.
At first glance i planned to rotating the planets around its center and solar, but it's ended up only their center (or atmosphere actually). The thing is, i simply didn't find nice solution to keep the original art style and also make that kind of movement for it, of course things would be different if i draw it with the animation in my mind back then. I'm not too creative in sound to be honest, but wanted to use something connected in topic something not too loud in the background, it is two sample mixed and slow down together from planets/moons sounds what i found on youtube.

  3. More about the planets and system itself
"BlackholeSun": (Such a strange star object, how does it even work?)
Planet 1: A very harsh planet, most far from the center, but because of it's geothermal activities and the effect of the asteroids, only the third coldest in the list.
Planet 2: Largest, coldest planet, has a pretty reflective atmoshpere.
Planet 3: Only habitable planet for humans in that system, which moreover has a ring! How cool could be live there and watch from there?
Planet 4: The most unstable planet in most of the aspect.
Planet 5: Fluid planet, the usual citizen could call it water planet but that wouldn't be precise, cause it has nothing to do with water, but has some really interesting chemical reaction which makes it pulse from time to time (something like "BZ reaction" ).

Little change:

Because nobody cared about to read the article (i cant be mad about it, i know the reasons)
Instead of vote-and prefered choose, i randomly selected the two winner from the upvoters.

I am only just a little bit sad cause i thought it would be a great activity to give names or write something sci-fi.
Well, maybe in the future with different circumstances.

Anyway, have a great day everybody, and thank you for your attention :)
