Shiba Inu's close cousin came to visit!
If you look at Akita and Shiba Inu side by side they look very similar. Except Shiba Inu is just a tinier version. :D Not only they both have similar physical traits, they both originate in Japan and share some behavioral patterns. However Akita and Shiba Inu also have differences. Some of them are listed below.
Akita vs Shiba Inu:
- Akita is way bigger in size than Shiba Inu. In fact, it's the Godzilla among Japanese dogs;
- Akita is more quiet;
- Akita plays favourites with its owner's family;
- Akita is more aggressive towards stranger dogs.

Cool sketch. My grandma's dog's name was Shiba. I found out latter it sounds like a swear word in Korean.

Ehehe, now that I think of it does indeed. Shiba does sound like the Korean swear word "shibal". I heard that word spoken out angrily in Korean dramas, so I can attest to your observation, haha.
