But, like you, I mostly use photo references. It's easier than having someone present, you don't have to worry about the model shifting/moving, and, best of all, you don't have to pay someone to sit there!
lol good to know. I would be so sore holding a pose like that for longer than 5 minutes!

That's why dancers make good models. They stamina, understand what a good pose is and have well defined bodies.
