I’m playing with a fractal program again and I thought I would share. I guess it is sort of the equivalent of doodling. To me it looks like a crystal tree with a growth on it. One scene is during the day and one as the fractal sun starts to set.
These were created mostly with Mandelbulber with a little help from GIMP and an old photo of mine.
I can’t take much credit for the settings used, I’m just learning to use the program and found some cool stuff in the sample files.

Fractals have come such a long way and our ability to manipulate images has grown too. I enjoy looking at the images kind of like looking at an interesting pebble I found on the beach.
It is a fun activity. I keep looking for ways to improve what I do. Some say the world is like a giant fractal of endless patterns of energy. Looking for meaning is like looking for a needle in a haystack yet meaning is everywhere.

I've been looking at mandelbrot set videos on youtube recently and I can't get over how insane they are, fractals blow my mind.
I would be fun to try to do a video some time. It takes so much to put it together though. They are a lot of fun to play with and the math behind them is interesting.

Oh yes, very cool. I used to follow a guy on Tsu then on Clickasnap and most recently on Niume. All he did was fractals. Many were super cool. I myself have yet to try them, but maybe someday. I have so many hobbies now already that I need time for!
Thank you, its fun to share stuff. Fractals have come a long way. It is good to have a lot of hobbies, it keeps things interesting. There are some many fun things to do out there now if you have interests.

Wow, he has done a lot of really cool things with 3D and fractals, thanks for sharing! It is inspirational to see nice modeling and rendering like that. For myself I'm not sure if I want to focus more on getting better at writing, or art. It is great to have this chance to do so while supporting Steemit and being rewarded. (I can't get over how much a change my votes are having.)
Oh cool, you got a chance to see those! I like the geometrical, symmetrical, spacey thingies lol. I do remember him saying that some of those take a bit of computer power. I may fool around with them when the fall comes and being outside isn't such a lovely option as it is right now in Michigan!
WOW! thank you so much LOL That is crazy LOL You are like King Midas. I'm not too sure that the votes are actually working as they should. I know there was the hardfork today, but WOW!!! LOL. Just feels too good to be true, maybe? Make me wonder where all this money was going before? As far as I know the reward pool is the same size...
There are fun to fool around with and much faster than it was back in the early days. I think you can even network more computers together is you get really into it and need the computing power.
Your welcome, LOL. I never use automated voting and keep my voting power up pretty high. I've noticed it getting a lot lower pretty fast so I'm going to have to get used to using the percent bar. I think many people are going to very happy with this change. I am. :)

Yeah I dont do anything automated. Heck I even drive a stick lol. I use the slider because I do a lot of commenting coz I am a natural big mouth and full of hot air I suppose.

As the entropy of the universe is constantly increasing, everything is expanding according to this theory so may be the reason for it. But these pictures of crystal fractal tree are mind blowing.
Thank you. Life seems to be creating some sort of order out of the disorder. As entropy increases perhaps new fractal forms and crystals are generated. It is fun how over the years the knowledge of chaos theory and fractal generation seems to be continuously changing and building on previous knowledge.
