Another birdy, I am so sorry to override you with these creatures, but I just love them so.
This drawing I made with pastelpencils and -crayons. The reference I photographed 5 years ago in Tanzania. I tried to draw this beautiful red-billed hornbill.
I have been told that Zazu is based on the same bird! Makes me love the movie even more :)

Thanks for your compliment, I'm not sure to explain a meaning; I painted this, and it is a very personal work because I took the referencephoto myself in the wild in Africa. Besides, I love red-billed hornbills! But a deeper meaning is not laid away for this piece I think :)
