RE: "Gaia Reborn"- The Largest and Most Complex Painting I've Done. Painting progress and details

You are certainly right about sadness coming from mind interpretations and the same can be said about all emotions and feelings. When I was young I was quite emotional. I had very big ups and downs and suffered from stress until I realised that how I felt was my choice. From then on I chose happiness and I chose to never get stressed about anything. It was a big paradigm shift and took a while to achieve. About a year. Every time I saw or heard something that had the possibility of causing an emotion in my mind I would stop myself from reacting straight away and I would decide how I wanted to react or what emotion I wanted to feel. After about a year I didn’t have to stop myself and choose how I wanted to feel, it just came naturally. Happiness certainly is a state of mind and we can chose what state we want our mind to be in. Very thought provoking post Jan
