ehy dear @maxwellmarcusart, your design is fascinating and evocative. the lines give a feeling of movement as if this pain never ended; moreover they give me the feeling of rain, which however is not enough to wash away the suffering from those faces almost disfigured by it. very beautifull! :-)) congratulations!!
A lot of meanings can be derived from those lines and you truly gave a valuable interpretation of it.

But there is one face that catches my attention more than others!
The one at left bottom...
I kinda have feeling while that person is suffering, he is giving pain to others... Maybe to decrease his own pain... It's like he's enjoying it... Not sure but that was just a feeling!

Well there's a story behind every look... Maybe that face got used to pain...But you are the story teller! So you can decide that!
Great work! It's a creative interpretation of those emotions. I find all of them capturing the emotions very well, just the one that is on the bottom seems to have other emotion too. I can't name it but it doesn't look like either pain or agony to me. Either way, it is great too!
