The image below is of the last nude I painted when I was in art school.
I am sad to say I have hardly had the opertunity to paint and draw the nude from life since then. It's only been quick sketches at places where there's been organized models that just hold their poses for 30 - 5 minuites.

The painting is 1.10 m x 50 cm and was painted with a limited palette. (titanium white, ivory black, terra rosa and golder ochre.)

I think the main reason why I haven't painted more is because people require A LOT of money to take their clothes of. Well, I can kind of get their rational, but it's not been too affordable on my part. I do also tend to spend a few hours on each painting, everything from 20 - 60, so paying someone around 25 $ an hour is a bit out of the question.
I DO LOVE painting the human form and skin thou, with all its subtle colors, values and lines. Do any of you konw of any good (free) anatomy websites by the way? :) So far I've used http://anatomyzone.com/ a bit, but would love to get some tips.. That could help me a long way when it comes to at least sketching out ideas.. :)
Hope you enjoyed and have a good Tuesday!
MAybe you will find this youtube channel useful. It's croquis but i guess you could just hit pause :p I know it's not the same..

This looks interesting! =)
Thank you so much @mikkolyytinen!! :D Definitly useful stuffs!! :D
You are welcome. Beautiful work :)
Thank youuu! ^^
DeviantArt has a large amount of reference material. Tumblr, once you are following the right people, has also been a brilliant source for me. Last but not least, Pinterest has also been a gold mine. Of course you have to allow for NSFW content to find nude references.
Once you have some images, you can then of course use reverse image searches such as Google Images, but I prefer Yandex as it gives you more control over the image sizes. Both allow you to upload an image to search on. You will of course usually find the originating website, and hopefully the creator, but they both also show you similar images.
Thank you so much for your comment @leoplaw! :D As always you are delightfully helpful!! :) Thank you again. :)
Great work. I look forward to seeing more. Being an artist is definitely not an affordable venture. Many people do not realize how much supplies cost, models, or how much time is invested into a piece. I wish we lived in a society where people could do what they love and not worried about basic survival. Buckminster Fuller theorized that if we lived in such a society, you would not recognize the world in 20 years from all the advancement!
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment @jeffjaynes! :) I agree with you a 100% !! And that Buckminster Fuller comment gave me goosebumps! :D
What a beautiful painting, definitely following you! :)
Thank you so much for your comment and follow @eveuncovered!! :D
Excellent study. I used to be an artist's figure model, so I have seen countless life drawing studies, and yours are truly outstanding. I understand how $25/hour gets very expensive for just one artist to pay the model. Have you considered forming a group to split the fee? Sometimes that can be a win-win. When I modeled for such co-ops, they became large enough that everyone would pitch in just $10, and I would end up earning a lot more than the typical hourly rate. Also, check your local art departments. For example, the Art Institute local to me offers a free, open to public life drawing meetup once a month. One instructor I worked for a lot has a fantastic and useful website http://www.figuredrawing.info/
Hey @creationofcare! :D Thank you so much for your compliment and comment! :) Trying to organize a group with some people would definitly be worth looking into ;) Good tip! And thank you SO MUCH for linking me to that cool website! :D Awesom stuffs... ;)
Glad to be helpful! I wish you success in finding / forming a life drawing group. Your posts are inspiring me to rejoin the ones I mentioned, as an artist, though. I am extremely rusty! I'm glad you like Steven Michael Hampton's website. I was honored to be featured on the cover and several pages of the 2010 edition of his book. I felt I was in the presence of greatness and learned so much from his lectures!
Thank you very much! ^^ Very glad to have inspired a bit myself ;) Absolutely, I like it ALOT! :D It must have been a great experience like you said so well, ''I felt like I was in the presence of greatness''. Amazing... :) I'll look more into his work and words.. :)
Incredible! I love the contrast of the body to the textured backdrop.
Thank you @hansikhouse!! :D
