No I don't mean sick as in awesome sketches, I mean sketches done while I'm sick. My family and I have all been sick for the last several days, including a 3 year old and a two and some change month old. It's pretty much futile to try to tell a 3 year old not to exhibit the behavior that could easily spread the sickness.
My guess is he's ground zero. I'm his personal jungle gym when he can't go outside and he gives zero f*#!$ about the yellow goo pouring down his face and gets it everywhere. Is re-infection a thing? If so, I think I'm on round three.
I haven't gone this long without posting in months. :( I've still be able to post the odd comment here and there, but last night was the first night I felt well enough to draw a little something. Just some totally random freestyle sketching. These are not characters for any project, just made up as I was drawing them.
I know you all like processes so I made sure to capture it as well :) I hope you're not sick. It sucks.

Hey :) I remember you've asked about some tricks on Steem in one of your posts recently and the one is after last hardfork it's not practical to upvote yourself in first 15 minutes because you won't get your curation rewards for this post at all (you will gift it to others) but if you vote later say after 16 minutes or even later you will get some.
Thanks @dunsky! But the way it actually works is that you will only get nothing if you upvote yourself at the same instant you post. You will progressively get more as you approach the 15 minute mark and at 15 minutes you get it all. I auto upvote my post at 12 minutes because the curation trail I'm on upvotes at 13 min, so I get more curation rewards by casting my vote before all of those :)
For what I understood if you self-vote within 15 minutes you will get nothing.
Yea there was a lot of confusion around this when it started but you only get nothing when you upvote the same instant you post. The percentage you get increases as you approach 15 min and past 15 min you get 100% of the curation rewards you would normally get.
The reason you might want to vote before the 15 min mark is if other larger votes are going to vote at 15 min or right before 15 min, then you'll earn a larger curation reward if you cast your vote before they cast theirs, even if you do send a small percentage back to the reward pool for voting before the 15 min threshold.

You should check out steemworld.org/@(any user name) and you can check all your curation rewards in real-time. Looking at yours or other peoples is a good way to understand why some accounts do what they do. When they vote, at what weight etc. to maximize curation rewards.

Don't worry about not posting especially if you're sick XD Glad you felt well enough to bash out something though :) If you want something light to do just keep up on the upvotes for curation rewards and do things that require concentration when you have enough concentration.
I remember the fun of repeatedly telling toddlers to refrain from engaging in disease spreading things. Fortunately mine were the type that would want to watch screens endlessly or sleep when they were sick so it wasn't a major issue (everyone else could just stay away from them).
