Really excited about participating in the Visionary Art Contest. Im not really interested in winning but I would really like to help and support the Art movement here on Steemit. Everyday I meet a new artist and designer on steemit. Connecting and supporting other artists in this community has been really gratifying in so many ways. Being an artist, I know that support from anyone in the digital world is a huge contribution.
Anyways, In this image I wanted to capture the my favorite "Alien Plant food - Chlorella". Chlorella is a super food that is completely alien to our species and only in recent year considered a possible food alternative. This mystical plant is super interesting as it is the source of all life on year and has been co inhabiting the planet with us since the beginning of human time scale. The image is a juxtaposition of a human's technological achievements during the industrial era, in context of a powerful force of nature, the ocean . These oceanic territories are unknown to human, and can be a world for the extraterrestrial being. The Material of the structure is electrified steel beam that conducts energy for the city grid while the electromagnetic currents attract new oceanic life forms and an ecology of ecotourism of oceanic species. These species would heavily depend on the Chlorella as a food source for the species of this environment.
