I really wish I had the time...
...to make a complete scene with this guy! Furthermore, he'd be a LOT of fun in a video game as well...
What is an alligator doing in the middle of the Sahara Desert?
He's either searching for a caravan to raid, he's lost — or the guy that made him is bad at planning stuff.
Let's examine those choppers!
Having square marshmallows for teeth makes him look pretty harmless, but certainly not charmless.
I'm liking the cube creatures, but I think I like the other art styles you usually do better. What program are you using to make these new ones?
VoxelMagic or something like that... :D It's a retro gaming style!
Wow, I just checked it out. It looks like you can make some really cool stuff using this. I didn't realize that you could use it for 3d printing. I've been using Blender thus far, but this looks like a neat little program to mess around with. I'll check it out in a little bit
it's alllll about the retro pixel look for me. i can't make that decision for everyone though. glad you'll at least give it a shot.
I couldn't get my hand close to those teeth anyways... It looks great x) chop chop chop!
it's from an old animation i made a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago!
thanks!!! :)
I need to see it closing and opening mouth xD
Yeeeeeeeep I need to figure out an easy way to animate these </3
Maybe make a voice for him too! :)
Rad! Do you recommend a 2-D pixel art program? I make pixel art mosaic but have never found a program that I like so I always plan them by hand!
Hi @tonicraftshow, I don't do a whole lot of pixel art. I use photoshop. There are probably a lot of good free software downloads though!
Cool, thanks for the reply. I've tried some online versions and they are just trash. Maybe i should look for a download.
MagicVoxel will work for both 2d and 3d pixel art, and I do think starting with 3d is better because it is harder to go from 2d to 3d, but 3d to 2d is much easier!

@wanaf, @fabiyamada and @overkillcoin are the three that I follow, but @shoumi and @aoart were also working on pixel art projects too. Maybe they should do something like the WATER ART project but for pixel art!

Nice, thanks for the info and for the accounts to follow :) I'm not all that serious about pixel art but I have made some rad coasters lately! Wonder Woman!

That is so creative! I assume there is a post associated with this image? I'd love to share it with more people :)
Oh thanks! I haven't done one yet with my pixel mosaic - maybe ill do that today! Thanks :)
I loved the design so much that I thought it should not just be a coast but a nice coffee table!
oooh, that could be cool - a pixel mosaic scene on a table
hahaha this is great, gator looks more like a dinosaur if you ask me, but somehow this lil guy's found his way to the desert where I am sure he is thriving lol
keep up the persistence on steem(it), sure you won't regret this decision when the price begins to breakout!!
Steem on and cash-in!!
Thanks conrad, yes, it's definitely stylized with a TON of careless artistic license! It's actually from an old animation I did, but I've made it 3d instead of flat. :)
Thanks for zipping by !
you bet!! It looks like something from an old-school video game- one that I would definitely play haha
~see ya around mate
And the surprise post of the day goes to awesomeness!
Looking forward to getting more efficient so I can do entire scenes, not just one character :)
Wow you are becoming very proficient even if its not efficient. The cross eyed gator is awesome!
Just getting to this now... Appreciate that! It hasn't been a full week, so I should probably just calm down with the pixel aggression :)
An alligator in the desert is an indication of the life people live theses days, the see they want to become doctors yet, they find themselves in offices doing clerical work......
That message just popped up when I saw your post.
Anyways, thanks for the message!
Poor dreamers, we all have so many goals and dreams that are held back by the system :(
Thanks @murphylee!
That's one cute-silly aligator :D
The teeth and the eyes are the best! ^^
Thanks @kristyglas, just getting to this now... It was insane fun, but bad planning caused it to take 2x as long... And sorry, I can't upvote for a while, burned out battling spammers :(
Some how these are screaming to be in a video game, but I have no budget :)
I know same really haha. I'm so low I can only resteem, but then I forgen and upvote as well :P Oh well. As for a game, the problem is less of a budget but rather having to learn everything to make it :)
A cross-eyed lego croco! XD
Very cute!
