The model that you have created is certainly impressive :c)
However I do also feel that it was a missed opportunity ^_^
After all - we are talking about cartoon guns - and while Disney isn't well known for being creative with its guns (I can only think of semi-realistic renditions of rifles and such in certain classic movies), Warner Brothers is a different story.
Within the context of such one finds the iconic cartoon gun from 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'...
And of course one cannot forget 'The Mask' movie.
Of course, if one wishes to imagine what guns 'might' look like in a Mickey Mouse Disney feature then one could go in one of two directions:
The Mickey-Mouse themed gun - complete with mickey mouse ears and an overall rather cutesy polished look.
The old cartoon themed gun where the barrel of a gun is more stocky and 'bendy' than a normal gun would be, and might includ angry eyes and lips (or one angry and the other happy) at a broader 'business end'. It might 'even' feature mini arms with kid-gloves.
Of course - anything is possible in a cartoon - or in a 3D representation of such - so a Mickey Mouse with regular machine guns is fine for a 'darker take' on Mickey Mouse. :c)
Thanks for sharing @techtek.
:) The bendable barrel and other ideas are very funny idea, but would indeed make it less dark and more cartoony and would take out some of the darkness and maybe some of the "huh this is a strange /interesting combination" factor :)
I like your write up idea and input.
Ps: The bendable barrel immediately made me think about Elmer Fudd, he caries around his gun everywhere.
