As a retired street artist, I highly recommend investing into it. I know it was a fad at a time but, fads dont always fade. One day that piece of art on your wall will fetch you some money. After the Banksy revolution, Street art became a fine art amongst the elite. It was almost impossible for someone to own an original piece from this rare collection. I say rare, because street art is not meant to be permanent. Its supposed to be something given to the community and have purpose for that time.
Shepard Fairey is one of those artists that has broken those rules but maintains a level of integrity. You may remember his work during the Obama campaign:
Shepards work is a reminder of the propaganda posters of past wars and civil disobedience. His work shows this thru his color palettes and style. Its different but, similar to Banksy work in the UK. Shepard did, at one point, work with Banksy on a street project in California.
Owning an OBEY, is a symbol of a generation that witnessed a change. Not only in politics but, with culture as a whole. You get to have a piece of this. You get to put it on your wall and enjoy it, remind yourself and overall have a Warhol of your own.

Stickers
The sticker packs are limited on designs. They are worth alot to some... Ebay. Lots of Andre logo stickers, these are meant to be handed out and public.
Once framed, these OBEY pieces have not only value but, enjoyment to a collector. I have yet to get my hands on a screen print... Its hard and expensive. At least the store:

Allows anyone to own this artwork at a very reasonable price. The quality is amazing and you wont find it anywhere else. Also, throughout the year he releases limited edition prints that are just as gorgeous in quality and value. If youre a fan of this style, get on it!
