This is my finished plein air painting study from the Winter Solstice on the 21s December.
I had to stop the painting on site because of the rain, but I took it back and finished it on the same day.
9" x 12" oil on canvas board.

Imagine the lighting would have been quite different when you went back after that rain? Least you were able to get back the same day 🙃
The lighting was changing every few minutes on location too, as it was at sunrise and just after!
