Little mariachi and the star! illustration process

Hello my dear Steemians! I hope they are fine.

Today I want to show you this little illustration that I did to practice digital color.

Recently I have been testing quite a bit with this type of double complementary color palettes and I think that in this case I was able to achieve a pretty pleasant color harmony.

I have been adding small brushstrokes on the clothes that enrich the image a lot in terms of texture (in this case in the pajamas-costume).

Regarding the subject, I have recently shown skeletons, devils or monsters but it is not the only thing I do, I have other types of characters and the really important thing is not the subject, it is to develop my own style To test any theme that I like.

I made a little character who discovers a star and gets excited with her. I really like it when children dress up and play heroes, animals or monsters just with their pajamas.

He is in disguise out there, he likes western movies, sometimes being a horse, play maracas and discovering things of course!

this was the final proposal!

I made a small video of the process from the line drawing to the last lights and shadows.
