The League of Justice is a group of comic book superheroes made by DC Universe protagonists. It is known for the first time in "The Brave and the Bold" 1960. Group conformed by Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Martian Detective.
The origin of this group of superheroes was in the comic "Justice League of America Vol. 1 # 9" where these heroes separately were incapable of conquering an alien invasion in such a way that they decided to work together with the evil one.
In the current version of the League of Justice In 1997, Grant Morrison was in charge of giving life to a new incarnation of the League. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Detective Marciano and Aquaman. This time the League is in the danger of conflicts, facing challenges that only they solve. The leader of the group was Superman and the strategist, Batman. A difference of previous League formations, are set in a high-tech base on the Moon called "Watchtower".
Following the events of One Year Later, the League was reformed with a core established by Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Among its members are Black Lightning, Vixen, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Red Tornado, Arsenal (Roy Harper, former Green Arrow companion), Falcon Girl and Black Canary. This new series that began in 2006 is written by Brad Meltzer and drawn by Ed Benes.
