After being swayed by the storm in the Mars atmosphere, finally the aircraft carrying the researchers could land on a planet dubbed the Red Planet. They conducted research because before they had sent robots to take photos and rock samples. From rock samples obtained by researchers, it is believed that Planet Mars was a habitable planet. This is seen from the layer of salt on rocks taken from Elysium Planitia, an important part of Mars which is the robot landing site for Insight.
After months of analysis they agreed to send humans to Mars. Although initially opposed because some thought sending humans to Mars was tantamount to suicide. This is understandable because the Mars atmosphere is very thin and contains a lot of methane and carbon dioxide.
However, thanks to more in-depth research and technological developments they were able to create a laboratory that was used to develop plants on Mars. By wearing oxygen cylinders they worked hard to build a laboratory. They stared to find opportunities to live on a planet other than Earth.
They built a translucent building and allowed sunlight to enter. They conducted trials to develop green plants. These plants have chlorophyll so they can photosynthesize. This plant requires carbon dioxide for photosynthesis. In the atmosphere of Mars the availability of CO2 is very abundant. Every day they put some carbon dioxide in the laboratory.
Months the experts conducted experiments so that they finally expanded the trial area. After reaching 2000 square meters, the plants that are being developed are increasingly diverse. The encouraging results of the experiment are that the oxygen content of photosynthesis has a quality that is as good as oxygen from the earth. In fact, they had dared to release the oxygen reserves from their wail. They managed to make a place containing oxygen.
They have also been able to develop the hydrological cycle so that the diligence in an area of 2000 square meters is fulfilled. The water that is placed in a shelter can be used again. we know water and air are one of the most important elements in human life. This research is certainly very encouraging for the development of humanity.
