OMG how much I loved that movie also wanted to write something, but was already discouraged by Youtube interpretations leading my mind into religious and mother nature dichotomy discussions. I like you're objection:
However, in my opinion, this movie is not only biblical stories or a new vision of Bible. "mother!" is a phantasmagoria about male egoism and the suppression of a woman forced to serve to her husband as well as to the entire patriarchal system.
thank you @sciencevienna I was so impressed by this movie! Couldn't eat or sleep last day! Hahah I couldn't actually even think of anything else. Might watch it again, I believe there are so many things hidden!
