Over the weekend I thought I'd mess around and try and do some watercolor painting. I don't have any background in painting so this was mostly just practicing perspective and shading. Anyway, let me know what you think.
I started out with just a pencil drawing:
Then I spend a long time on the bridge and the reflection and started to fill in the river.
The rest was just coloring and shading. I decided to add some lily pads for perspective.
Very nice. Good to experiment with as many forms of art as possible.
