Those guys look so young back then. It's interesting that you choose to write in English, but you are missing a lot of the cultural references. Did you see anything about 'posh totty'? Referenced in Curse of the Were-Rabbit. A lot of these terms are regional, but TV helps to spread them.

Men behaving badly was one of the shows we watched in the nineties - on VHS bought in England :) I have a consultant who helps me a little with the language, but else I just pull on my knowledge from film and tv-shows and British people I've meet. The reason why I choose to make a comic taking place in Britain was that I wanted to do a satire over surveillance. NSA was my first choice, but after a bit of consideration I thought it would be easier for me to relate to an Englishman. I have meet and known many people from the UK, and our cultures are much closer than we are with people from USA - at least in my experience.
Oh, by the way - I have mostly seen Wallace and Gromit with the Danish voices as I saw them with my kids.

They have a lot of puns in those. Do they get translated?
Yes, they do. Sometimes you have to make a whole other pun, but that is how translation work - I do it myself when I make the Danish translation from the English. As I write it in English thinking in English I am placed in the same predicaments as the other translators. I just had to translate "see you later alligator" and that was quite hard actually.
