I've seen art displayed at cafes for sale. A lot of people won't consider going into a gallery, but there are plenty of other places they could see it. I'm sure there a business in placing at in such places for a commission

Yes about businesses doing it for a commission I was thinking the same thing. I feel for artists because they have great passion and skill but often are undervalued.....much like musicians!
