"Anthony Freda’s art is a flower in the barrel of a shotgun but a bullet in the mouth of politics. He is fearless and fierce and years from now, when we look back on this moment in history, his art will be an accurate snapshot. A picture of what we should never forget lest history repeat itself. " -Ara Hawkins
"Anthony Freda is a Long Island-based artist who is equal parts editorial illustrator and visual political activist. He worked for several years in his own corporate advertising agency before quitting to focus on editorial illustration. Mr. Freda currently is part of the adjunct faculty of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He creates a weekly political graphic for The Trends Journal, aptly called The Weekly Freda. His mainstream client list includes; Time, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, The New York Times and numerous other publications.
Freda explains, “I may have started my career pimping alcohol and cigarettes, but I have repented and now use my visual communication skills to sell ideas.” Freda creates his potent and provocative illustrations with a combination of found objects and surfaces, collage and drawing—all mixed together to great effect. Freda says that he uses art “as a tool of political activism”—he has a whole section on his website labelled “political art”—and his imagery often carries a powerful message of peace and social justice".

Hi! I am a content-detection robot. I found similar content that readers might be interested in:

This website and source was put right in my post. Credit was given to artist. Please read through my posts before you put spam on my blog. Thank you
cheetah bot is very broken, make sure to flag it's posts as well. It takes posts with good content that may have copy or descrip text, or like yours, has a source and link, now has your post flagged in a way that looks bad for Steemit overall. It just needs to be fixed.
It's not flagged, it's just a comment.
A comment from a broken bot voting it's own comment. I do not mean flagged like flagging a post for content itself, but flagged in that the cheetah bot reacted to whatever and replied.
Don't worry for that.
On top of pinging two of my posts, here are other posts just yesterday that are wrongly being flagged by the bot
https://steemit.com/news/@lecrazycanuckeh/michael-flynn-trump-cabinet
https://steemit.com/games/@jacobtothe/stonehaven-miniatures-review In this post you can see the Steemit user found that the cheetah bot is even upvoting itself.

This needs to be changed as it is a bad view for new users as well as good users trying to post their content.
It's automated, and it's not spam. Don't worry about it so much, anyone who looks at this will not say you're stealing anything. It's clear fair use.
Why would anyone who looks at this post and sees a high ranking comment, high ranking because of it's own bots btw, the high ranking comment is written by a user named "cheetah" saying that it has found duplicate content, not think the post is stealing? I do not believe it is clear fair use when this comment exists.
I believe that cheetah upvotes itself to prevent brand new accounts with little stake being able to downvote its comments to hide them. In any case, people overreact to the message. It's not harmful.
It should tell you something that if people are downvoting it's comments to hide them, that to the users who are posting good content as well as viewers, it is very harmful and is not sending a good message when Steemit allows a bot that sometimes works to be taking up comments and displaying false messages.
It will not let me reply to your other comment because I think we are too many threads down, but to your comment saying it is not passing any value judgment, well then rename it something other than the "Cheetah" bot as that is a very judgmental name for something that is supposed to be 'helping' by judging what it is determining what is similar or identical content based on an algorithm rather than actual human detection.
Renaming might be a start at the least, but to say it is going about things in a non-judgmental way is silly based on it's name alone.
There's nothing false about its message here. It found similar/identical text at another link. It doesn't pass any value judgment upon the content, because it can't.
This is really amazingly detailed street art, really cool images, thanks for sharing.
Thank you for checking it out. Take a look at some other galleries and thanks for your insight.
