Irezumi is a tradition that lasts more than three hundred years .

It is found in Japan, though in recent years the rest of the world has embraced through the community of tattoo.

When it started to become a trend , somewhere in the mid-18th century, the irezumi was done by hand.

Later they began to adopt the technique of electric tattoo, the tattoo machine .

Motifs borrowed from woodblock prints of the time had another meaning on their bodies.
