Time for some new artwork by a two year old and mommy

Hello Steemians, how are you doing? Today I would like to share with you my first time that I have made something with cardboard and glue instead of a drawing or painting.

The picture above is a colourful painting on our wall, and if you look below on the cabinet you see the paintings and craftworks we have made together.

We used four different colours from this A5 cardboard book.

Cut the cardboard in strips.

Then, make squares.

To glue the squares on the paper, we used Pritt.

Draw a big circle in the middle of the paper, we used A5 paper for this artwork.

Use the glue to stick the yellow and orange pieces of coloured cardboard inside the circle until you're satisfied with the result.

The last step was to get messy again with the yellow paint... little cutie-pie loves painting a lot, but mommy's got to help a bit here to make the sun rays .. so we held the brush together and this is the final result of our collaboration crafting a sun using paint and coloured cardboard.

Awe-----love love love this!! You two make a great team and produced something really beautiful! I'm so glad you decided to share it with us so even more people can enjoy it.

Is there anything particularly special about Pritt glue?

Thank you @everlove :) We love making arts together.. the pritt glue is not liquid and because she is just two years old, I prefer using that over liquid glue, because that way not everything will be covered with glue lol. I think it's safer to use at this age..

So is it similar to a glue stick?

yeah its a stick with glue I knew Pritt in Holland (used it as a child myself) but here in Hungary they also sell it. Normally the glue is white though.. this one is pink (only one they had here)

Gotcha--always intrigued by new/old materials. Thanks for sharing.

That's really cool! Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you for your kind comment :) have a great sunday!

@cutie-pie, enjoy the vote!

That's so cute, I'm always looking for artsy stuff to do with my little girl!

Thank you! This was the first time we used coloured paper with glue .. but she liked it so we'll do that again soon..

that's awesome. Did you put the glue on the paper for her and then she could just stick it?

we did it together, depended a bit on how the glue was spread (sometimes she pushed to hard and it was al deformed lol then I took over )

haha...okay yeah that makes sense...thank you!
