Me and my Cinderella

in #artzone6 years ago

Good day everyone! How are you today? I'm here again @alkevin to share my work. My subject today is me and my girlfriend, Cinderella. She is always requesting at me to sketch her but every time she do it, I am hesitant hehehe because always criticized my works even though she is not good in drawing hahahaha. Anyway, according to her, it's for my good and to improve my drawings. But this time, I did her request because I know she really want it and I drew her together with me, it's her bonus Lol. So let's start. I will show you the process and how it is done

makeup sponge

Ruler

sketch pad

  1. GRID LINES:
  • I drew grid lines to my subject and sketch pad to serve as pattern, so that I can draw the details correctly.

  1. OUTLINE:
-After the grid lines, I started working on the outline of the face using #2 mongol make sure you did it very lightly to easily erased if there are some corrections.

  1. EYES:
  • Let's move on with the eyes, this is the part of the face that I love to draw. I used 8B pencil for the details and to darken the eyeballs, #2 mongol and tortillion for the shadow, used the tortillion lightly on shading until you get the tone that you need.

  1. NOSE:
It's hard for me to draw this part, I always spend mo time on working this. I used the same process and materials on it.

  1. LIPS AND DETAILS OF THE FACE:
  • Use 8B on the dark part of the lips and #2 mongol on the clear part. Then, shade it using tortillion make sure that you always used it lightly on shading. Also you can used an improvised paper stamp if you don't have tortillion. For the details of the face, I used #2 mongol and makeup sponge. At this time i used sponge on shading because it makes more easier on getting the right skin tone.

  1. HAND AND CLOTHES:
For the last part of my drawing, it is quite hard and challenging on making it more realistic. I used #2 mongol on the hand. Then, I started working on the clothes using 8B pencil and tortillion. I used it alternately until I get right tone for it.
