Drawing cartoons is easy and fun because you can draw without much restriction compared to realistic styles and other drawing styles. Here are the basic steps used in almost all cartoon types. Enjoy!

Cartoon Basic
1. Gather the necessary tools such as pencils, pens, and coloring tools. Before you start drawing, drawing tools are things you should have. Coloring tools that you can use in cartoons can be crayons, colored pencils, watercolor, and more.
2. Sketch the lines of the design. The first thing to do in a cartoon is to make a character illustration design using a pencil, preferably a HB pencil. The design contains the main forms of body and clothes of cartoon characters, position, expression and hair.
3. Draw a cartoon character using a pen. The drawing pen is the recommended pen for paper use as it gives you a wide selection of widths. What's more, image pens are easy to use and produce cleaner images.
4. Remove pencil marks using an eraser.
5. Color as you like. You can use whatever medium you like and you can color it the way you want it.
