Hate Speech is & is not real, depending on what we are talking about. Yes, speech can hurt your feelings. However, speech is still speech regardless. When SJW talk about Hate Speech, they mean their emotions, subjectively, relatively, as that matters much more than to them than objectivity, reason, evidence, Stefan Molyneux philosophy, etc.
