Hello friends, I hope you are excellent, in this pots I will show a new tutorial much more explained how to draw a face, for this use of reference the face of my sister which I will explain step by step, I hope you like it a lot.
The materials I used were:
- Block cardboard.
- Metallic mechanical pencil 2mm (For the sketch).
- Portaminas 0.5 (For small details).
- Pen 2B (For shading).
- Pen 4B (For shading).
- Pen 6B (For intense shading).
- Moldable Eraser (For reflections).
- Napkin or toilet paper (To blur the pencil).
To make the sketch use the 2mm metal mechanical pencil, which has a HB mine that is ideal for sketching, the measurements of the eyes are 2cm and the distance between them is one eye, ie 2cm too.
The nose measures 3.5cm and is also depending on the face, remember that not all faces have the same measures in the nose, jaw and forehead.
Now we go to the fun, the shading, for the clear shading we will continue using the 2mm mechanical pencil filling the whole face making small circles, to blur we will take the toilet paper so we will not leave those unwanted lines (do not worry if you do not have the mechanical pencil, you can do it with a HB pencil).
In places with more darkness you should use the pencil 2B and 4B, the pencil 2B we will use it for the shadows with intensity in the face since it is a little dark and will be perfect for the makeup that has the original photo and the pencil 4B for the shadows of the hand, neck and part of the chest, in this image you can see how the drawing is going.
The truth that while drawing was going to be incredible, even I was surprised, I felt very inspired while drawing. Continuing with the tutorial, to make the hair use from the pencil 2mm to the pencil 6B making lines according to the hairstyle you have, ie use all the pencils mentioned at the beginning leaving those small reflections in the hair and doing some with the moldable eraser , here I show you a comparison with the original image.
