Kupu-kupu atawa Bambang, Jenis serangga memiliki sayap sisik dan berwarna indah, cerah serta beragam. Serangga jenis ini aktif pada siang hari. Kupu-kupu biasanya menghisap nektar atau madu bunga.
Proses metamorfosis hewan ini dimulai dari Telur, Ulat, Kepompong, setelah menjadi kepompong selama beberapa hari baru keluar menjadi Kupu-kupu. Selanjutnya menjadi Kupu-kupu dewasa yang indah dan cantik. Jenis serangga ini hidup selama seminggu, ada juga yang lebih dari seminggu tergantung spesiesnya.
