Dear beautiful friends, i want to really say am so glad for your turn up for my last post, thanks so much for the visit, your suggestions, ideas and sincere comments, am so much grateful to you all for making me motivated to do more beautiful pen art portraits and sketches.

Today i will be sharing an awesome commissioned work i did for a friend of mine, though it was commissioned, it was delivered on the on the 30 th of August.

I firstly studied the real picture to be used for reference after which i made a quick free hand sketch on a broad cardboard paper, let say of 20 cm to 18 cm with the a 2B graphite pencil , i used the graphite pencil first so as to erase in case of a mistake in the first rough sketch out to be use .

After that i took my ballpoint pen, i used a BIC biro and adopted the common cross hatching shading technique and some cross contour shading with the pen, by this method i devoted my attention, focus and commitment so as to come up with a beautiful pen sketch .Below is the first rough sketch.

After that i compared it with the main picture, thus below

After that i applied my ink detailings to bring out something more solid and real, by that i needed to show the effect of shades and shadows which i did with cross hatching, cross contour shades, blur ink, and minute biro scribbling.Below was the beautiful outcome.
