As long as people who choose or prefer to work this way are not breaking any rules (and this includes charging outrageous prices), I honestly see no problem because people are free to express themselves as they please and use other people's writing to do so is acceptable.
However, once again I reinforce the idea that there must be full agreement between the parties on what is on the table.
