360,000 degrees of rotation, falling from an unknown elevation, 6,237-1/2 back flips, into a 227 rpm corkscrew and sticks the landing in the gravel at the substation...

As I entered the substation to get some info about some recent faults we have been having on a circuit, I noticed this feather. I just happened to look down at the exact right time, and thought, “Nice Landing”. On the way back to the truck I had a hard time finding it. It was camouflaged pretty good with the rocks.
