Hello my dear steemit friends.How are you all?Hope you are doing great.So friends today's topic is about the natural beauty of India and that is Assam.Since the days of Hiuen-Tsang Assam has fascinated the rest of the world with her aura of myth and mysteries,history and folklore,music and dance,handloom and handicraft,panorama of nature and a plethora of beautiful landscape.The most charming scenery that leaves an unforgettable imprint in the mind of the visitor is the panoramic beauty seen in the state's landscape.The blue hills that dot along the northern and eastern frontiers of the state keep the visitors spellbound with wonder and delight.The long range of mountains that borders the state is noted for its tall trees,swifting-flowing rivers,exciting waterfalls,bamboo groves,and is the habitat of some of the rarest animals,birds and plants,unseen anywhere else in the world.Nature's finest attire is seen in the sight of the lush green tea gardens that dot the Himalayan foothills and colour the state's landscape with greenery.Assam is known as the land of blue hills and red river.Brahmaputra and it's tributaries are the lifeline of the state.

Famous holy places,monuments,palaces,forts,etc.have added charm to Assam's scenic beauty.The famous Kamakhya temple offer to the visitors,moments of unspeakable joy and delight.

There is no doubt that Assam is a darling of nature.Nature has abundantly blessed her with abundance of panoramic grandeur and natural beauty.

But man's ruthless destruction in the name of development has destroyed much of state's natural beauty.It is time that the state wake up to this threatening menace and take steps to preserve the pristine wonder of the land in its original charm and beauty.
