Sorry Charlie

I have no idea who this is!

But apparently he was sniped in the neck right after making the argument that Second Amendment rights are worth a few deaths. Not sure if ironic or just bad luck. Did he lose that argument, or win it? The world may never know.

Vitrol and bile!

So yeah apparently the left hates this dude and they were all somewhat celebrating his death and making jokes about it for the last couple of days. Of course that pisses off all the right wingers who liked the guy. Left calls him a Nazi and a racist as per usual. Right says that's an absurd overreaction to his takes. Again, this is the first I'm hearing about Charlie Kirk ever so I really have no take to give.

What I will say is...

If a prominent left wing figure was assassinated the right would have responded in similar fashion, so I'm pretty confident in the assessment that both sides are absolutely insufferable hypocrites that endlessly debate about their own shit not stinking. We've reached this point in late-state imperialistic "capitalism" where every election the losing side blames the winning side of cheating, "But we would never cheat no no no that's ridiculous."

Zero personal accountability.
Zero One perspective.
Reactionary.
Screeching.
Undisciplined.
Childish.
Annoying.
Welcome to the internet!

Conspiracy theory

I saw multiple people on my timeline making absurd claims that the shooter MUST BE a professional assassin because he shot Kirk at 200 yards in the neck. Like yo I don't know if you've never shot a gun before or ever watched a war movie, but while a strike to the neck is technically a hit, you would never actually aim for the neck. Which means the shooter missed what they were aiming for... which was obviously a head-shot. I'm not like a ballistics expert or anything but gravity pulls the bullet downwards in an parabolic arc. This is not rocket science (actually ballistics is really similar to rocket science but whatever).

This same thing happened when Luigi Mangione allegedly shot the CEO of United Healthcare (Brian Thompson, was it?). Everyone was like oh look at the video clearly this is a professional hit! I don't know what people's obsession is with mafioso-style executions but can we not. It was just some guy.

Other's still are convinced that Israel killed him through the Mossad intelligence network. Seriously guys. Why? This is not a high value target. Please cease and desist. I mean I'll probably look into that angle at some point but not today I just can't.

They arrested a suspect a couple hours ago.

Apparently this guy admitted that he did it and a family member turned him in? Hm, yeah I mean I know I just ripped on conspiracy theories but that's exactly the kind of cover story I'd use when employing the most extensive and illegal surveillance network the world the world has ever seen. It's always funny to see grainy videos from people's front yards when there's a high res camera on every street light and they can zoom in on your face from a satellite from space.

Authorities, who have described Kirk’s killing as a “political assassination,” discovered anti-fascist messages engraved on ammunition with a rifle near the site of the shooting that hint at that political transformation, Cox said.

Those messages included one that said, “Hey fascist! Catch!” and another that appeared to reference an Italian anti-fascist song.

Hm yes Luigi allegedly pulled the same stunt with the defend/deny/depose bullets.

Well I guess that's that!

Notice how all these super high stakes shootings get "solved" in short order.
And the way they get solved is never because of the rampant illegal surveillance network that people like Edward Snowden tried to warn us about over ten years ago (imagine how much progress has been made since then).

Never let a crisis go to waste!

And here we see the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security stoking the conflict while acting high and mighty as he continues to break the law and justify giving himself more illegal power that violates the constitutional privacy of every American on a daily basis. Love that for us.

Conclusion

Pretty messed up situation.
But entertaining nonetheless.
How much longer will I be subjected to this train wreck?
And how much longer will I add fuel to the fire by reporting on it?

Sort:

I had heard him on some podcasts, he was extremely right winged, but still no reason to put a 30-06 bullet through his neck. I have been off mainstream social media for a while now other than just paying attention to drone stuff and markets, lol. Been completely off of X for some months, so I haven't seen all the people cheering. But I have also seen some people talking about this being the shot that starts a civil war. I just don't understand why we let politics run our lives like this? It's silly. Just let me grow food, smoke weed, and fly drones really fast and reckless, lol. That's all I ask.

This sentiment has been the explanation why political activists have more often been Left leaning than Right leaning. Many on the Right want to be left alone like you do. So, "progress" has happened and progressive activism has pushed the boundaries of what is acceptable to now being left alone is barely acceptable and expressing opinions that were main stream in the past would give you the "extremist" label.

Well, I am not right, left, or anything. I do not believe governments should exist. I am in the category that nobody is correct and we are all just making this shit up as we go along, so NO human has the authority to tell me how to live my life. That is what 'progress' should look like.

Can we all talk like we are adults, and actually want to work this out? BANG! Apparently not.

I am also tired of finding that the "one who pulled the trigger" is an obvious patsy.

I really wish the people talking about this could actually solve what happened, but the biggest black hole is the police themselves. And the MSmockingbirdM already has their marching orders. So, we will only get further away from the truth.

This is just another episode that shows how sick society is, and it's very sad to see people happy with this kind of thing happening.

he did make people think. its sad he was only 31. isreal apparently funded his organization Turning Point USA, and a week before he was shot he started to be critical of israel and their control of the media. i dont know. i dont see how a random asshole would think charlie kirk deserves to die. he was super pro crypto too. he seemed like a pretty cool dude

I might have to do a follow up post on the conspiracy stuff because the official narrative for this ordeal is absurd and completely unbelievable.

i know. the fact that that fat old guy was IMMEDIATELY chosen as the shooter... was so wrong, and now it is... probably because of the internet noticing the guy on the roof. but its like.. so absurd and - and so insulting... that the media is so quick to lie to us about it..

Thanks for posting this! Funny that I came to Hive to find out what the story was. I was on X and all I saw were reactions to some news about the shooter and a video of this guy reading his college acceptance letter, looking very much like the shooter.

When Gabby Giffords was shot, I don't recall any "I'm happy it happened" from the Right. This expression was massive when Trump was shot and again with Charlie. You can be sure that expressions such as that from the Right would be amplified. I do recall some humor when a champion of soft-on-crime is the victim of a crime, but not "I'm glad it happened" among those I hear. I would not be surprised if it does become a bitter tit-for-tat and we see more expressions for the next Leftist victim.

I guess the inscriptions point to the Antifa sentiment where every Republican is called a Nazi. There is the theory of Moussad eliminating an asset gone rogue. Hopefully a comprehensive review of this guy's connections can eliminate that one. I am reluctant to accept evidence purposely left at the scene by the criminal to be necessarily sincere.

I think if the guy got away clean it's pretty much a patsy case at this point. They will spin the narrative the way they want and stoke the separation even more. I wasn't really familiar with the guy either, but I had heard some of his positions on things and I can't say I was a fan of his ideology. He still had a right to shovel it out to people. Odd thing is there was also a school shooting that day and the two Democrats that got killed a while ago and the uproar wasn't nearly as big. People get outraged at what they are told to be outraged at.

People get outraged at what they are told to be outraged at.

A groyper gamer gets all the attention for a few days, but then can we get to get back to finding a new distraction from Epstein?

so many distractions frfr

Let's be honest people need to stop getting so political in general and realize that any of these people in power don't give a shit about you or doing anything good for you.

"...how much longer will I add fuel to the fire by reporting on it?"

It's a mystery. I, as you might guess, have opinions on this matter, but I have seen the fervent ferment frothing at many mouths and held back from holding forth. It's elk season and chanterelles are sprouting all over the place, so I'm spending my time innawoods rather than stoking the flames. I really don't think I have anything to add anyway, as all I can do from here is talk about stuff other people have said. Who the hell cares what I have to say about what other people say? They already spoke for themselves, and none needs any help from me.

I'm off with a plastic bag for mushrooms and a pointy stick in case I'm attacked by a bull elk. Wish me luck.

Thanks!

probably just drop conspiracy tweets here as they trickle in

If they don't keep killing each other, they will burn down our palace! MOAR media!

I've heard of the guy before but had never watched any of his videos, except his last one with Shapiro. Those questions he posed had a lot of significance, and a comment in another video he did with Megyn Kelly is a crucial aspect to it also. He said in response to being asked this question by students, that it wasn't defensible to be dumb, right? He said, "They're like what would it be like if all of a sudden I am starting to see a pattern of behavior similar to what my grandparents saw in the 1930's Germany online, how would I behave." "So, that's like my charitable, over compensation spirit, at the same time I am like, but it's like not defensible to be dumb, right?" "We have a right to speculate about that."

I mean, honestly, (note that comes from a point of sincerity) (there's a relevance for pointing that out) when someone makes a statement that a simple question to answer may present or indicate a problem for someone to answer, that's relevant. When it's proceeded by "I'll be honest", given the overall context, it's not sincerity, it's used in the pretext that someone is no longer going to hide from something. Here's the context of the question posed. "and I know this may be a tougher question, but BB said, and I quote, I didn't like he said this, I'll be honest, but you can't be MAGA if you're anti Israel. I don't like it for a couple of reasons, how do you analyze that statement from BB?
The reason they are scared of him moving away from the driven media narrative on Gaza is that he has huge influential sway over youths. Last year he got 15 billion views across social media platforms. His ambitions, which he was well on his way of achieving, which he called more broader than just the next election cycle, that his organization, which already consisted of six buildings in Phoenix, he was planning to rival organizations like Harvard, New York Times, and tech companies. He was quoted as having said, "It will be making conservatism cool again - not just by winning elections, but by influencing behaviors."
That's why they were afraid of him. Marjorie Taylor Green and Megyn Kelly have spoken similar words to the effect of his, and have no sway over the youth like he does, or over social media. He was going to be a force to contend with. He started questioning the narrative, and sadly he believed and said, when it came to the support of Israel, it was bullet proof.

Charlie was a good guy. I went to a few of his events and met him in 2017. He was a class act great guy. !LADY !BBH !PIZZA !ALIVE
