After sharing my Mercury Astrology Map I continue this little series with the sun now. This memory map that I created is using sacred geometry and imagery to teach astrological information about a certain planet or in this case the sun.
Start in the Center
The sun is associated with the fourth or Heart Shakra. We use the color green which is also associated with that energy. Placed upon it you see the rune of the sun, the circle with the dot in the center.
Inner Circle
- The Top: Symbol of Leo, Zodiac signs which is ruled by the Sun.
- Top Right: Symbol of Aries, Zodiac sign where the Sun is elevated.
- Buttom Right: Symbol of Aquarius, Zodiac sign where the Sun is detrimented.
- Bottom: Symbol of Libra, Zodiac sign where the Sun is in the fall.
- Bottom Left: Personification of the Energy which is the Father.
- Top Left: Orbital period around the sun - since it is the sun itself no entry.
Outer Circle
These are the general traits that are associated with the Sun energy in Astrology:
- Vitality
- Willpower
- Individuality
- Success
- Status
- Wealth
- Power
- Respect
- Self-Esteem
- Self-Expression
- Cheerfulness
- Affection
Memorize The Map
Let's use memory techniques to memorize the outer circle on this map: You can visualize the sun itself as our memory anchor. And now tell a story where you use the visual element for each attribute and weave it into your story while visualizing the whole thing. Something like this:
The sun is shining down on you and fills you with so much energy and vitality that you start that you start to jump and work out like crazy. You gather all your willpower and sit down in meditation to relax again. During the stillness you find your individuality where you visualize a mental image of yourself highlighting what makes you different to rest of creation. Your image starts to run up the street of success towards your future.
Half way up a self-driving sport car catches up to you and invites you inside as your status is growing. The car is filled with gold, silver and money which is merely a fraction of your new wealth. You stare at the Eye of Providence on the Dollar bill and realize the power you are having now. However, you bow full of respect to the responsibility given to you and you flex your arms in self-esteem. You literally start painting your future where you act in full self-expression and you can see that it is good in the cheerfullness of the people and yourself. Your affection to other people is healing the world.
You can change the story with your own images and ideas. Finally, repeat the story a few times over the next few days and weeks. Then you will always remember the Sun attributes.
Wow nice work, the Sun attributes are really important I haven't read about this, astrology maps can be a bit confusing but I loved how you explained and the mandala art is pretty cool too ! :O

Inner vs out Circle ?!? Little bit confusing
The inner circle are the six points around the center with the black background. The outer circle are the twelve points around the inner circle.

are you actually able to recollect all the astrology maps?
With a little bit of effort everyone can do that. It takes less than a minute to repeat it in your mind and if you do that for a few days the memory will last a while. If you strech out the repetitions the memory might last for months. And if you bring back the memory a few times a year you will remember forever.
