Is this not a reference to the Black Sun, which is the ringed 6th planet Saturn, Father Time?
The Sun + Moon = Eclipse = 88 = Saturn.
Two Towers (sun/moon) = Ring (Eclipse/88) = The Return of the King.
The Alien Invasion and the End of the World when "Time's Up."
Golden Gate + Bridge = Golden Passage = 8/11 = 88 = Solar/Lunar analemmas = Eclipse = Corona = Ring of Fire (solar gate) = Saturn.
Saturn = Judgement = Fire Apocalypse/Alien Invasion = Revelation.
It would be interesting to look deeper into a potential connection of the Golden Gate and Saturn.
