The day the world changed
This speech sends chills up my spine every time I watch it. J. Robert Oppenheimer is obviously distraught, with a intrapersonal battle of guilt and achievement. He had just unleashed on to the world, the most unfathomably destructive thing known to man. How it must feel to be the one responsible for something of this magnitude, its something I can only entertain as a empathetic thought.
I feel as if my physical body, would carry around some kind of unshakable somatic heaviness for the rest of my life. A psychological invisible gravity-like, weight of guilt. The unlimited death, despair, grief, anger, and regret the future holds, is something no man should be responsible for.
This also reminds me of how tortured the pilot was, who dropped the atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was something that tormented and stuck with him throughout his life.

Glad to see you back. Really liked the post. It must have been a terrible burden knowing they were responsable for bringing that into the world. Or knowing you released a bomb that killed hundreds of thousands of people.
