Attention Whales: Here Is Your Daily Invite!

in #attentionwhales6 years ago (edited)

All #whales willing to commit to spending some time each day to reading and contributing to the #community are invited.

Here are the details:

Please help get the word out by #resteeming this #announcement.

This new Google Plus community was created primarily as a fix for minnows that are constantly #promotinglinks but never getting any results because every one else is only committed to posting as well. And we all know how hard it is to get any of the whales, which make up a small percentage of Steemians, to read articles from writers at lower levels. This is a big #problem on #Steem.

The solution is for minnows to unite and to commit to reading one article for evey time they promote their own link, and also contribute to the community by choosing to either upvote, resteem, comment positively or comment with honest constructive criticism. Whatever the comment may be, it should done in a way that is not rude or meant to put a fellow member down. This way, your not stuck in a rut where the only people in the chatroom or the feed your sharing are constantly posting while no one is their to read. The #comments concerning the #article should always be made on Steemit, while comments concerning the G+ community should be made there.

Further, whales will get a daily invitation to join the community, but only with the intentions of actually reading minnow articles and at the the very least give constructive criticism by commenting. The daily invite on Steemit to whales will have the tag of #helpfulwhale and all link promotion posts in the Google Plus community will also be tagged with #helpfulwhales.

The fact that a lot of comments made to minnows on Steem are just a generic "way-to-go" is not helping minnows improve or level up. There can still be a #positiveatmosphere along with honest, helpful criticism to encourage more #conversation in the comment section of Steemit articles by newer Steemians.

Remember, this wont work if people aren't making the commitment to #contribute and actually acting on it. However, I know the world is filled with more people with good intentions than bad, so I'm banking on seeing something good come out of this. Thanks, and steem-on Steemians!
