Yes, that's how I usually feel myself as a reader. What I described isn't a scenario that crops up very often with my writing, which was why I was so intrigued by it. Interestingly, on other platforms where I posed the same question I have had some comments back from people who are OK with the lack of a clear time setting. It may be a bit like asking people if plot or characters are more important, which always gets a split response.
