FlightGear flight
Today I requested a flight by @Schamangerbert to fly from Munich to Vienna.
First I had little problem with installing mumble(couldnt hear, but speak), but after reconfigurating the Audio-Assistent and restarting the PC, it worked.
We started at 2130 and had perfect live weather conditions to fly, with a russian Sukhoi SuperJet 100(24m). Which is a smaller airplane than for example the Boing 747(71m).
The take off was a bit abrasive, but not really a problem
I had a lot of question:
- about the weather(where the data comes from)
- which speed is allowed to fly when passengers are on board
- what possible complications can be
- about some airports and so on
It was pretty exciting, informative experience and i learned a lot. For example that there is a maximum flightspeed is given in supersonic velocity(0.78 for this airplane, which is around 960km/h).
That flying per se is not that hard, because of the autopilot, but the pilot has to know a lot of stuff(pressure, law, physics, ..)
here you can see the logo lighted up, which looks pretty cool!
Before the landing we had to make a loop cause we were flying too fast.

Heute hab ich eine Fluganfrage an @Schamangerbert gestellt von München nach Wien(mein Wohnort :D)
Ich hatte ein paar Probleme Beim Installieren von Mumble(konnte ncihts hören, nur sprechen), aber nach erneutem einstellen des Audio-Assistenten und einem Neustart hat es dann funktioniert.
Wir haben um 2130 begonnen und perfekte und reale Wetterbedingungen zum Fliegen des russischen Flugzeugs Sukhoi SuperJet 100(24m). Die etwas kleiner im Vergleich zur Boeing 747(71m) ist. Der Start war ein bisschen holprig, aber sonst kein Problem.
Ich hatte einige Fragen bezüglich:
- dem Wetter(woher die Daten kommen)
- welche Geschwindigkeit mit Passagieren erlaubt sei
- was für Probleme auftreten können
- der verschiedenen Flughäfen usw.
Ich fand es war eine sehr aufregende und informative Erfahrung bei der ich einiges lernen konnte. Zum Beispiel, dass man ab einer gewissen Zeit/Höhe die Geschwindigkeit in Mach angibt(0,78 für das Flugzeug, was so an die 960 km/h ist)
Dass das Fliegen an sich nicht so schwer ist, aber ein Pilot viel wissen muss(Luftdruck, rechtliche Sachen, Physik, usw.)
hier sehr schon zu sehen, das beleuchtete Logo, was ziemlich ich ziemlich cool finde.
Vor der Landung mussten wir noch eine Runde drehen, weil wir zu schnell waren.
Ich möcht mich bei @schamangerbert für den Flug bedanken und kann jedem nur empfehlen es auch auszuprobieren!

ahhh cool, ich hab von ihm schon zuvor gehört/gelesen. ist das nicht der kerl der allerlei flughafen-gefährten am pc erstellt ? also allerlei nützlicher fahrzeuge und so ? mhhh... muss ich nochma genauer reinschaun ! lieben gruß
edit: ahhh ja, hab ihn auch in meiner liste, daher kenne ich einige inhalte von ihm :)

Flying with autopilot may be easy, but I think pilot are paid so well for challenging a possible crisis like a burning thruster. They have a big responsibility to bring everyone on board save back to the ground or at least without major injuries. I pay much respect to them because being pilot can be a very stressful job as far as I know.
the true friend that the learning and responsibility of piloting is extreme, but happily exciting. luck in your acrobatics.
