Preflight Procedure - First Officer

For EDTO flight, accomplish the following Fuel Crossfeed Valve
Check on the ground prior to engine start:
CROSSFEED selector - Open
Verify that the VALVE OPEN light illuminates bright, then dim.
CROSSFEED selector - Close
Verify that the VALVE OPEN light illuminates bright, then extinguishes.

EDTO Flight Procedures

For EDTO flight
⦁ Start APU on the ground. APU should be remain turned on until passing EDTO Exit Point (EXP), and
⦁ Accomplish the fuel Crossfeed Valve Check on the ground prior to engine start.

After Start Procedure
APU switch OFF(or ON for EDTO)
For EDTO flights, APU should remain turned on until passing EDTO Exit Point(EXP)

EDTO Enroute Procedure
EDTO operation must begin with all generator operable including the APU.

APU
APU must be on for the entire EDTO segment.
⦁ If the APU does not operate, the aircraft shall not enter EDTO segment.
⦁ If the APU failed in EDTO segment, EDTO flight will be able to continue.
⦁ Shut down the APU just after passing EXP.

Fuel Crossfeed Valve Check
Do a Fuel Crossfeed Valve check at 1 hr before TOD.
⦁ CROSSFEED selector - Open
- Verify that the VALVE OPEN light illuminates bright, then dim.
⦁ CROSSFEED selector - Close
- Verify that the VALVE OPEN light illuminates bright, then extinguishes.

After Takeoff
APU switch OFF (or ON for EDTO)
For EDTO flights, APU should remain turned on until passing EDTO Exit Point(EXP)
