I love to experiment with my baked goods so after perfecting a chocolate glaze for my chocolate chip donuts, I decided to try my hand at a powdered sugar coating on some of the remaining donuts. In all honesty, I could not tell you which donut I preferred, the powder sugar dusted one, the chocolate glazed one, or the plain one. They were all delicious! But if you have a preference for powder sugar on your donuts, it’s so simple to achieve. Here’s how to do it:
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup powder sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- Place the butter in one shallow dish and the powdered sugar in another. Dip each donut in the butter, be sure to coat the entire top half.
- With the buttered side facing down, place the donut in the sugar dish and swirl around quickly, then remove.
- Enjoy your delicious powdered donuts.
this is a simple one craving donuts..

So now I can make donuts . Quite interesting. 😎
