One day, when a bowl of Sundanese ice cream was cheaper, a 10-year-old boy entered a coffee shop and sat at a table. A waiter put a glass of water in front of him.
"What is the price for a bowl of ice cream sundae?"
"50 cents," replied the waiter. the little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and counted a number of coins in it.
"What is the price for a bowl of plain ice cream?" The boy asked again. Some people are now waiting to get a table and the waiter starts to be a little impatient.
"35 cents ...!" Said the waiter rudely.
The little boy counted coins again, and finally said "I want to buy a bowl of plain ice cream," he said.
The waiter brought the ice cream ordered by the child, put the bill on the table and walked away leaving the child. After the child finishes eating ice cream, he pays it at the cashier and goes home.
When the waiter came back to clean the table, he began to wipe the table and then swallowed because of what he saw. At the table, placed neatly beside an empty plate, a coin worth 15 cents, a tip for the servant of the child that he thought was annoying.
So the lessons we can take from the story above are: Don't underestimate or look down on others, because it can be that person who will help you when you experience a difficulty.
