Reason For Leicester vs Tottenham Betting Tips

Leicester put in a lacklustre performance away to West Ham on Friday, offering next to nothing for most of the match and coming away with a 1-1 draw, despite The Hammers’ torrid record at the London Stadium.

This makes it three games without a win for The Foxes, although they have only lost one of their last eight in all competitions. Still the fact that the only top side they have faced in that period was Manchester City, and that it ended in defeat, will be a worry for them going forward.

Leicester currently lie 11th in the Premier League, and are only four points above the drop zone, despite some improved performances. They also have some very tough fixtures to face before 2017 is out, with Burnley and Manchester United visiting the King Power Stadium and them facing away days at Watford and Liverpool.

Tottenham also suffered disappointment this weekend as they struggled to a home draw with West Brom. This followed on from a stunning comeback against Borussia Dortmund in midweek, and their inconsistencies continue to frustrate the fans. They have beaten the likes of Real Madrid at Wembley, but still can’t get three points against teams like West Brom and Swansea.

Away from the curse of Wembley things have been a bit better. They did lose to both Arsenal and Manchester United, but against the weaker sides they have been dominant, winning all four of their other games and scoring 12 goals in the process.

Spurs will feel confident about their chances on Tuesday too. All five of Leicester’s defeats this season have come against the top six, with three of those being on home soil as well. They have conceded at least two goals in all of these matches as well, so backing Tottenham Over 1.5 Team Goals looks a great bet here.

In the end Tottenham should get the win, and considering three of their four away wins this season have seen at least three goals, we’re also going for a Tottenham Win and Over 2.5 Goals alongside a 2-1 correct score predictions.

Harry Kane is always one to watch, but even more so in this fixture. He has scored five goals in his last three starts away from home to Leicester, and he netted yet another at the weekend, to take his tally to 15 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions. Backing him to find the net yet again could prove a good move.
