RE: Deleted

You speak much truth.

I'm curious as to how you first came to try psychedelics at age 25 given your law enforcement situation? It truly seems like you would be the very last person to take them.

There is growing evidence that they could treat (or even cure) some severe psychiatric illnesses or depression but as I covered in one of my old posts the war on drugs has seriously hampered the research.

Others have had their cultural practices and what is essentially an ancient part of human culture criminalised.

The politically motivated mass hysteria of the drug wars has forced people into having life long treatment with drugs which are not always completely effective, do not produce cures and have known side effects.

All for what? - the logic behind the "war" is non-existent.

Harm is not minimised, both petty crime and organised crime are increased.

Prisons are full of people who shouldn't be there at great cost to the state and the taxpayer. Police time is wasted when it could be spent going after real crimes.

It is state advocated insanity.

I promise to comment on this later. I must go but I'll be back tonight. Good question and I'm going to read your post.

Thanks I look forward to it. I'm going to bed as it is 3am here now. Will probably check back tomorrow afternoon so please take your time:)

@thecryptofriend I'm back. Thanks for waiting. As a k9 cop, I kept drugs in my house for training aids. One night, I got a wild hair and tried marijuana. WOW. That's how it started.
