Para alguien que nunca leyó un cómic de Batman la cantidad de títulos disponibles en más de 75 años puede resultar abrumadora. Aquí presentamos una forma en la que se puede leer de una forma muy completa la “era moderna” (posterior a la edad de bronce y anterior a The New 52, que son enormes arcos temporales en los que DC ordenó sus publicaciones). De esta manera se puede leer desde el “inicio” del Universo hasta su colapso que dio lugar a algo que empezó hace unos años y que DC llama The New 52.
Cada uno de estos es un arco argumental, compuesto a su vez por diferentes publicaciones, seriales o unitarias, y conforman un “canon” o linea temporal consistente (o casi) de punta a punta. No queremos decir que sea la única ni la mejor cronología, hay miles, más completas o más resumidas, sólo es una que funciona y da un panorama muy completo (dejando muchas cosas afuera, porque si no es imposible).
