Living in an island where the whitest sand and clearest water has been a part of my existence. It's such a privilege living in a paradise. But when my College years are about to start, I have to leave the beautiful island and flew to the city to pursue my studies. From living in a countryside to living in a metro is kind of exhausting and stressful at first, that's why I've tried to find a place that resembles my hometown and find a place that is close to the city. And I've discover this wonderful place that is hidden in the the town of San Antonio, Zambales. Very close to where our country's capital "Manila" is located.
The name of this paradise is Nagsasa Cove. Just a few hours away from Manila. Before reaching the destination from the town, you'll have to take a boat first for two hours to reach the cove. It was indeed fun riding on a boat especially when the waves are big. It seems like riding a roller coaster.
I've discovered this place on the year 2014 for my thesis proposal way back college years because I was a degree holder for Bachelor of Science in Tourism. And I was in love at the very first sight. I always come back again and again. I also brought my family and friends their for them to see the beauty of this paradise.
What I love about this place is that it has everything to offer. There's a beach, a river and a mountain too. All in just one place. You can also play volley ball or frisbee or any sports that is suitable for beaches. You can also set up a camp fire at night. You can also hike in the mountains and cliff diving. The place is ideal for those who wants peace and having social media detox or just wanted to spend the entire time with your love ones without any disturbance gadgets and spend the time together. But of course, gadgets is must for taking photos of this wonderful scenery. Some of the tourist are students who wants to focus for their examinations. The people there was very nice and friendly. The natives in the place are called the ethnic group which are "aetas" they lived on the other side of the mountains. I talked to them and they told that they went hiking just to sell souvenirs and stuffs for the tourist for their living.
There is no hotel in the place, only tents can be set up for your stay which I love too because I'm an adventurous person. It was very cold at the dawn and the pine trees add the cool breeze of the wind.
I wanted to share this wonderful experience and really a must try. This place is highly recommended for those who wants to visit my beautiful country the Philippines.
Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you'll like this place as much as I do. Until my next travel.
Love,
Meg
