Hiking the Danville Trails in California.

I did a post about a month ago on Hiking Briones to Mount Diablo Regional Trail in Danville and Lafayette California just over one year ago , i was there with my wife visiting my cousin and his wife they live in Lafayette a small town in California and they are surrounded by some of the most beautiful green mountain hills you could ever imagine and we all love hiking so to us it was heaven.

There are many trails to be explored in Danville hills of California there are just over 100 trails covering a area of about 740 miles that is a lot of exploring and miles of walking we did explore a few trails and at the time we were there spring season was coming on so the hills just looked magical with all them California Poppies and Irises flowers blooming all over the hill sides.

Danville itself offers you many types of trails from just moderate walking trails to bicycle trails , horse trails , running trails to viewing trails , some of the moderate trails in Danville can be from 2 to 10 miles long and can take you up to heights of nearly 2,000 feet above sea level.

This was a huge rock i saw with moss over it but looking at the photo it looks like a aerial view of a forest.

We did decide on this day to take the longest trail to the very height of the highest mountain hill it was so worthwhile to see all these breathtaking views and walking through these fields of gold cup poppies was like walking to the gates heaven not that we wanted to enter the gates of heaven just yet 😊

Honestly the people living around these green hills have got to be the luckiest people on earth living in paradise clean fresh air to breath in daily , sunsets that just blow your mind away and so tranquil , i would move here in a heart beat , i really envy my cousin he certainly made the right choice.

Even the cows have got it good here with all this juicy green grass to eat and there own personal drinking holes no wonder the steaks in Danville were always mouth watering just looking at them and even better eating them.

I cannot be bored by watchubg these stunning landscapes. This place truely is wonderful and it would be a crime not to take many photos. 😀

It does give you that feeling by just looking at the photos it was hard to leave this beautiful paradise believe me 😊

I thought Lafayette should be more of a France kind of place.
Anyway, lovely landscape all around the place. Bonus with flowers on the hills.

It does look like the French or Italian mountains we can always dream and imagine that it is but it was a wonderful place for hiking with all them flowers around 👍

Great post. Plenty of color!

Thank you @trudeehunter was a great experience seeing those colorful hills.
