Yes we always keep our Christmas tree up to Jan 6th the Epiphany. Plus it's just too quick to take the tree down just after Christmas ....That just feels so wrong...
I didn't know that the end of Epiphany was February 2nd.....

They go by Sundays, I think. Jan 5 is the Epiphany, Jan 12 is the Baptism, and Feb 2 is the Presentation. It celebrates three occasions according to Christian belief: the presentation of the child Jesus; Jesus' first entry into the temple; and it celebrates the Virgin Mary's purification (mainly in Catholic churches). And that is when in our home completes the manifestation (which is the Epiphany), and that is when I take down the Nativity set. I think it is just that I got so used to my parents' traditions which I have followed.

I guess I had forgotten some of the traditions ....Yes that’s how my parents raised me too, I was baptized and raised Catholic.
